STAPLEHURST MONARCHS FOOTBALL CLUB The staplehurst Monarchs were founded in 1971 by a group of people amongst whom were; P Day Chip Chipperfield, G Starkey A Coleman & C Roberts. The club's objectives are; To promote and develop Association Football amongst both boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18, and men over that age by means of competitive and friendly matches social and discussion sessions. In our 30 plus year history, numerous cups & league titles have been won. Of our registered players, over 90% actually live in Staplehurst & many our our officials are ex-players of the club. 2005 - 2006 Season This season, the Monarchs have teams at Under 9, Under 10, Under 11, Under 12, Under 14 & Under 16 age groups. In addition to this, we have a Development group run by John Bowen which is active throughout the season and takes place on Saturday mornings from 09:30 at the Jubilee field, Staplehurst.
